A Playdough Phase

I couldn't resist snapping this photo of Eden as the kids were once again playing with playdough. I've discovered that "phases" are an important part of being a kid. Right now we happen to be in a playdough phase - the playdough is out every free moment we've got. I'm trying real hard to be in the moment enough with the kids that I realize their "phase" and can then adjust accordingly. So today we learned about the sun and the earth using playdough. Inevitably though, just as I start getting on board with the "phase of the day" we're on to the next phase.
