Jack-A-Bush

I love how Karis' mind works - actually, to be honest, most days I wonder and marvel at how her mind works, but I no longer question it. So when she came in the house and asked "How do you spell Jack-a-bush?" I said, "Let's sound it out." As we sounded it out she carefully wrote it down. Ten minutes later she called me out to the porch and this is what I saw.



She had arranged flowers and leaves in a plastic cup and claimed that she invented the "Jack-a-bush". She may not be thrilled with worksheets and reading but she's not lacking in the creativity department! I love this kid!
