On A Dark, Dark Night ...

Warning: Scary pictures, view at your own risk.

Tis the season for dark nights and scary stories.
Our adventures took us to Grosvenor Lodge Haunted House.
Wasn't much of a haunted house. Wasn't much of anything. Well - except a few laughs at the poorly done homemade scary video, "I'm just a crazy man with an axe!" - and a few photo ops. But really not impressed.

So we left. A little freaked out by the crazy man with the axe. But still looking for more adventure. Off we went to create our own adventure - a night time walk through Sifton Bog.
It was dark. It was scary. We mistaked a few deer for ghosts. The deer ran. We ran. The moon was almost full. The frogs were making their freaky frog sounds. Not another soul was around.
It was rather Blair Witchy.

Our conclusion on the matter of the dark, dark night: forget other people's idea of a haunted house, the first annual Late-Night Sifton Bog walk is now a Saylor family tradition.
