Fuzzy Lines

We "do" school.
And we play.
And sometimes we play school.
But most days the line between play and school is so fuzzy we don't know where one ends and the other begins.

Take for example today.
With the essentials of math, bible and language lessons "out of the way", this is what how we (or more accurately 'they') played.

Art while mommy reads aloud

Designed a new car for Daddy

Got entreprenureal and made 20cents giving rides

Innovative use of straps to include a trunk for purses and groceries

Even windows

A big thanks for Carolyn for lending us K'Nex

All on his own for hours in the basement, reading and engineering a rollercoaster.
The lines between play and school may be fuzzy today, but the learning is evident:
Art 101
Construction 101
Money Management 101
Engineering 101
Reading 101

It's all in a day's work.
ps Just to be clear.  Eden was at Theatre all morning so most of the above was constructed by Karis and Justin.
