Not A Taxi Driver

I was so afraid of the day when my life as a mom would be exchanged for the life of a taxi driver.
Fortunately that day has NOT arrived.
Unfortunately (or maybe fortunately?) our kids won't be child prodigies ready for the big screen, the stage, or the olympics by age 10. Oh well - we're trying to stay sane. So, the girls each chose between dance or gymnatics. They each have the opportunity to go to Brownies or Sparks if they like, and they both go to piano lessons. Busy enough.
Once again Eden chose dance. This year she takes both ballet and tap. She loves it, she's making friends, she's learning some new skills, and she's getting exercise. And at this year's Christmas recital she showed her stuff. We were impressed. They learned so much in just a couple of months; and they are good.
SO, we're giving the kids opportunities - and we're not resigning ourselves to life in a minivan. Life is good.
