Quiet Time

For a moment yesterday afternoon it was quiet. I knew something was different, just wasn't sure what it was. And then I realized - it was quiet. I grabbed my camera and went on a kid hunt. I found one in the family room working in a workbook. I found one at the kitchen table drawing. And I found the last one at the dining room table (where I left her) taking her turn at our new favorite math game "Rolling Numerals".

For a moment time stood still. It was quiet.
It didn't last long. But honestly - it's ok, a little noise is good for the soul.
