9. Piles and piles of wet, muddy laundry.
8. Wet shoes. Wet boots. Wet socks. Wet flip flops. We're down to bare feet.
7. "Who invented math anyway? I need to talk to him."
Yes, some of us are bitter about the remaining math lessons.
6. The pressure is on to finish the HIGH Day (homeschool co-op) Yearbook. A huge shout out to the amazing students on the committee this year! This year's family page was created by Karis:
So thankful for Apologia Science and the many "Try This" ideas - keeps us from getting antsy.
3. Macaulay Culkin strikes again!
Child #3 is within days of completing all his work for the year.
Children #1 and #2 are nowhere close to completion.
Child #3 decides to spend his time "devising genius plans".
First genius plan includes setting "sister traps" throughout the interior and exterior of the house:
2. Baggie Projects.
My {somewhat futile} attempt at tricking {they no long fall for the trickery} the kids into doing school by packaging books, manipulatives and projects in large baggies.
Today's project: volcanoes.
1. Itty-bitty pencils.
They've lost that back-to-school smell and they've been sharpened so many times that they are barely big enough to hold, but they show evidence of many hours of learning!
Oh spring ... how I love you!
