I am so thankful for the freedom to homeschool. Thankful on many levels. But today I am thankful that we have the freedom to do the basics and then thoroughly enjoy the beauty of fall. As our piano teacher said, we've got all winter to hunker down. Let's be outside while the weather's good! Major exception to the rule ... ski season is just around the corner. We may never hunker down!
