Karis is officially a Brownie. She made her pledge, was pinned, sashed and spun around the magic toadstool (seriously!). The ceremony was tonight. It was admittedly painfully boring except for the few minutes that my daughter was the one being initiated. But we sat and respectfully watched as other proud parents snapped a few photos and clapped.
Way to go Karis!

Dear Robin,
The picture of Karis with her spunky ponytail and her Brownie pledge made me get all jittery with excitement that God blessed me with a daughter :)
