Do you remember the demise of my Valentine's flowers?
Their remains were donated to science ... homeschool science, that is.
Taken apart.
Disected.
Studied under magnifying glass.
Dried and stored away in mini-ziplock baggies.
This morning my dear Mother brought ME Mother's Day flowers.
Gerberas ... my favorite.
And look.
Within hours of being in our home this poor plant was turned into an experiment.
This time, a test of Transpiration (the movement of water up the roots, through the stem, into the leaves and out the stomata).
I guess that's the risk you take when you enter a homeschooling home.
You never quite know what will happen to you when you're there.
There's always an adventure waiting to happen.
So a word of warning: Enter our home at your own risk.
ps Got a hypothesis on our Transpiration experiment?
