It lasted five minutes.
But five minutes is a lot of time - a lot of time for a lot of questions from an inquisitive little boy.
Do you think there's anyone in the world without a grain of food?
Do you think anyone is in space right now?
What about in Japanese space?
Do you think it's quicker to get from Canada to the space station or from Japan to the space station?
When do you think the neighbours will be home?
Would you rather go to Disney or build a bike ramp that's never been built before?
Can I bike off the porch?
Are you sure you can't jump on the trampoline with me?
Most of his questions required no answer.
You see, he wasn't looking for answers.
He was looking for lap to sit on and an excuse for a snuggle with mom.
So I will take his questions any day - especially if it means another second to hold my boy.
